Plain English: what we collect, why, and who sees it. Last updated: October 2026.

(01)

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email and your name. When you register a domain we collect your contact details (name, address, phone, organisation) — registries require real registrant information for every domain.

For Australian domains we collect and validate your ABN or ACN.

(02)

Payment details

Your card details go straight to our payment provider, Stripe, and are stored by Stripe — never on our servers. We keep only a reference that lets us charge the card for renewals, with your consent, and you can remove it any time.

(03)

What registries see

Registering a domain means your registrant contact details are shared with the relevant registry, as their rules require. Some registries publish parts of that information publicly; Australian registries generally do not.

(04)

Why we use your information

To register and renew your domains, to send renewal and security notices, to validate Australian domain eligibility, and to provide support. We don't sell your information and we don't send marketing unless you ask for it.

(05)

Who we share with

Only with the parties needed to run the service: the domain registries and our wholesale registrar, our payment provider, and our hosting providers (this site and its database). All are bound to keep your data safe.

(06)

Keeping your data safe

Your data is stored in Australia and protected with encryption in transit and at rest. Access inside our business is limited to what's needed to support you.

(07)

How long we keep it

Account and domain records are kept while your account is active and for the period registries or tax law require afterwards. You can ask us to close your account and delete what we're not required to keep.

(08)

Your choices

You can see and update your details in Account settings, turn auto-renewal on or off, and remove saved cards. To access, correct or delete anything else, contact us — we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au) if you're unhappy with our answer.
